The Journal I have an interview there next week. Very excited/scared etc. Now on the hunt for a clutch of great stories to present them along with my portfolio. If anyone would like to cough to being Jack the Ripper, stage a Tyne Bridge-top protest over the smoking ban or rescue a kitten from somewhere slightly amusing, could you tip me the wink first?

Re: The Journal Get a interview with Steve Walton new chief excuitve at Newcastle United. It was hardly covered by the media at all, what we know is he worked at Barclays & looked after Premier League Football clubs who banked with Barclays. I feel sorry for the saps who work on the Journal Sports desk because Alan Oliver always blows there scoop out of the water by mid day. Hard to belive these lads work in the same building:spangled:

Both the Journal & Chron's front page lead stories this week have been about the redevlopment of around SJP by Newcastle Utd. The thoughts of the Stanhope Street Resident Assoc may be worth looking at.
