The Getaway PS2 I think ive today just got the best ever action game ever. Gameplay / graphics / sounds etc, just everything on this game is class - good story line to it and take in the fact that its been based on gangsters / drugs / shootings / killings i think it desrerves its 18 Cert ! If anyones thinking bout buying it then do - simple as that ! Class it is..........

Its amazing. The detail is just top notch. And quite hard too. Gotta say it pisses on Vice city. In the map of London all the shops eg Pret A Manger and Hard Rock cafe are in exactly the right place
# Yea, app. they spent best part of a full year takin photos and converting em into textures, to insure it was an exact replica of london... its something like 20 sq miles as well... pretty impressive. :groovy:
Only thing I can say that anyone did similar for Newcastle, was a racemap of the Toon for Test Drive 4 - that was well over 3 years ago. I'lkl have to get The Getaway for xmas then
I'm getting it for Christmas. I hope it doesn't suffer from overhype. I mean, a game that's more than a year overdue has gotta be something special. Hasn't it?
