    c'mon the boro

boro always impress in the milk cup, a youth tournament held back home in N.I., i remember a boro team beat a man U team (including chadwick) in the under 16 section final of the competition, boro's youth system is very good.

It was only last year that Newcastle under 17s were picking up trophies!

Our junior system has suffered this year as our best kids (Chopra & Steven Taylor) play for the reserves rather than junior teams.
Also Alan Irvine leaving club caused a problems as Kenny Wharton & Peter Beardsley have had problems with some/lot of the kids & there parents. Mainly Neale McDermott (now @ Fulham) & his dad Terry McDermott, there are also problems with England U18 internationals Beaumont & Gardener, Ireland U20 international Kendrick has been told he can leave & has been on trial with Hartlepool.

Also Sunderland under Howard Wilkinson appointed the bloke who ran Ajax of Amsterdam youth system for the last 15 years to run/start up the Academy Of Light as of next season. But now Howard has gone I am not sure whether he will join Sunderland

So the future is Boro for now......

yep davies will make it big time i'm certain of it, he has so much composure already for a young lad, and a big frame to boot.

think we stand a good chance against the mancs.. this team plays really well for each other.
