    I think Mark Lawrenson summed it up. - "Mugged".

    This was more one-sided than last years final. Caroll didnt have to make a save till the 97th minute. Not quite sure how Man U didnt score today, but they didnt.

    I'd agree with you there, Arsenal didn't really pose much of a threat till extra time and even then Man Utd had the run of play.

    I'd still rather see Arsenal win than Man U :D

    Totally robbed! Man U were the only 'team' on the park today! I knew they'd get beat on pens though if they didn't score! Wanted Man U to win tbh, Arsenal are just a bunch of whinging arseholes!

    I wanted Arsenal to win and they did by luck. If it wasnt for Lehmann & Freddie United would of won it and should of won it at least 3-0

    As teknofish says - shocking way to decide a final. My view is that after 90mins the teams should keep on playing until a goal is scored - a 'golden goal' but unlimited time. Someone would score eventually and they would've deserved to win in that instance...

    Agreed. Bergkamp may be a great player but at the age of 36 he's never going to break through a back four on his own.

    they only really threatened after they took him off and even then it wasn't much.

    Man Utd won the contest (credibility), not the cup.

    They are the best group of players in the UK. They just lack a quality keeper.

    i SUPPORT NEITJHer team. But bi am embarresed that Arsenal won.

    Never has a team done aso little, yewt come aqway withn a rtophy. Rooney, Ropmnalso, Fletchjer, Keane, Browm, O'Shea were all sensational/. To me it is a mysatery they dident challegew VChelsea, bbut for saome reason they dont turn total dominance into goals? :spangled:

    Are you having a laugh! There are only a few players in Man U's team I rate! They don’t have the potential to be the best in the UK at the moment (even with a new keeper)!!


    The truth is Man U wanted to fight for it all the way (in the Alex Ferguson mentality) but for Arsenal to hold them all game and be without their first and lets not forget second choice striker going into the penalties and still come out on top is a top class achievement!!
