the end of a legend http://www.setantasports.com/en/Spo...ts/sport-space/great-britain-locale/football/ one of my favourite ever players this fella like
goal king cole funnily enough i was reading through the programme for the villa game and it mentioned coles goal against them back in 1994 which marked his 40th of the season, brought back memories of sitting on the barriers in the gallowgate as a youngin worshipping him for the true great goalscorer he was at that time, him and beardsley used to tear defences apart and were a proper spectacle to watch at every match. That premier league first season he got young player and top scorer 34 in 40 games which is lethal! He scored some proper beauties for us like, was a shame he never really done it at international level as he was definately good enough. lets hope he does go into coaching and not the hip hop industry [yt]4ixT63nBqao[/yt]
First and only time I seen him play live was when Grobelaar decided to let in a Cole hat trick back in 1993 - shit day
It was fucking freezing, chucked it down with snow, and a lad stood in front of me got hypothermia. And I was only 10, so couldnt see above all the fuckers standing in front of me (apart from the lad who got treated for hypothermia). Only plus side is that I was in the away end. A day I want to forget.
