The Electrik Playground Vs Superfreq @ Mission 7th March with EDX Friday 7th March @ Mission, Leeds: The Electrik Playground is a showcase for the worlds finest underground DJs and Producers. On the 1st Friday of every month we'll be bringing the hottest talent in electronic music to the north of England. Joing forces with Mr C and his DC-10 filling Superfreq party, this cutting edge night promises to deliver a genre-busting new sound to the city of Leeds. And a damn good party... We had a great launch party and are very much looking forward to the next one! This month we welcome one of Switzerlands biggest DJs and producers, EDX. His recent remixes of DEADMAU5, STEVE ANGELLO and DUBFIRE are the best we have heard in ages and we are very much looking forward to the fresh sound this guy brings. Its also great to bring DOLLZ AT PLAY to leeds after watching them rip up DC10 ibiza this summer. They fuse everything from glam rock to punk, techno and acid house! The legend that is MR.C will be back behind the decks (or dancing infront of them again!), showing us once again why he is regarded as a god of the electronic music scene. RILEY AND DURRANT and ADAM SHERIDAN will provide the main arena with aural delights all night, with everything from underground house to driving tech and the very best electronic beats. Rounding off the bill are Paul kaminska from mono_cult, Nu Breed rising star mark maitland and the Uberlube guys for a special party set!
