    The death of Nucastle.co.uk

When this board stopped being about music, clubbing, and the 'scene' ..... and became more about 15 or so of the same old people having pointless arguments, squabbling for the sake of squabbling and disuading any new and interesting people from posting .....

.... is when the end was nigh.

This message board shouldnt be about a cliquey group of jumped up, narrow minded, biggoted cock stains starting internet fights (!) or kissing the arse of anything in a short skirt.

    MAN OF SCIENCE FOR MOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah but i have more 'ooomph' than young tom.

Seriously ... enough is enough - surely you can see how bad this is Joe.

Theres some good people on this board, you included (and im not kissing your arse) - but even the arguments you got into 2-3 years back were better quality than the shit that goes around now.

    Someone reboot the matrix.

if you don't like the board don't post here?

plenty of people enjoy it and are appreciate of Robs efforts, we know you dislike it but why do you feel the need to get it closed down?

    bit sad really.

Any man posting about his love for 'male accessories' should be put into some kind of clockwork orange esque 'rehab' .... for shame!

I dont want it closed down at all.

But imagine your a new person coming to visit it for the first time ..... what can you see but a load of people you dont know having incestuous (sp) conversations about pointless crap on a public messageboard.....

what use is a thread about how jambon and revel are going to stove in oasis's head on a public messageboard? There was a time when threads like these were a HILARIOUS EXCEPTION but now they have become the CRINGEWORTHY RULE.

Maybe your right .. maybe its the nature of things like this to move on and for new people to take over.

But i cant help but shift the feeling that this board was more interesting when people used to discuss loads of different things .... and not just every other thread about some kind of board fashionista square off or jess C arse kissing thread (no disrespect Jess i dont know you).

The board is liks a playground..... and not in a cool 'grange hill' kind of way either.

    Disappointed Brid....

The only valid point is that we need a way to attract new members

What do new members have to contribute to the latest Allie or Oasis square off?

Decent mods would keep one sided threads pruned like they should.

I really like this board and lots of the people on here, but the rose garden is being overly filled with manure in recent times.

It goes through stages like this all the time. Me and Ruth probably made a great contribution to nearly killing the board a few years back
