    The Countryside

Went out for a drive with my mate today who lives in Shotley Bridge, we decided to visit derwent resivoir, then thought we might aswell keep on going, till we got to teesdale! some amazing sights, just miles of open space that is untouched, gutted i didnt bring my dig.cam.

Anyone else like going out for drives in the countryside?

Yeah we often go for drives out in the country, without really having a destination and see where we end up. Better than sitting looking at concrete all the time!

I live in Hexham so I'm surrounded by countryside. Me and me mates used to go for a drive around the roads after work or on a weekend all the time - usually for a smoke though.

The Countryside is :cool2: and beats driving past derelict buildings and office blocks but it can get a bit boring if you want a decent night out plus it cost's about £25-35 to get home from Newcastle to where I live.

i used to live on the edge of ilkley moor (not like, at the bottom of the hill or owt, but metaphorically speaking ;) ) and the summers were the best... drive up the chevin, walks thru the pine forests up there, fields of heather, climb on the big rocks and crags... take some smoke

    lazy college days :groovy:

I've just been over to Cumbria with work today.

Travelled in style in a new E Class Merc:p

Went to Penrith on the way over, then to Maryport for a presentation ( went to try and spot the dolphin but he wasn't there:() Then back via Carlisle:)

    Was a nice day:D
