Likewise with some of the above comments, iv'e had some hillarious nights on there & even helped my Dads mates with the refit when I was on my summer holidays from School when it first came alongside at Spillers years ago

Truthfully, it's a skid mark on the Quayside, looking over the Tyne now, even as a local it's beautifull, with the Sage, Baltic, Tyne Bridge & all the trendy bars along the front it's breathtaking at night, especially how far the Quayside has come when you compare it to pictures from just as early back as the 70's for instance. Then you catch a glimps at that rusty pile of shite under the bridge, Mecca to the 'Sharons' 'Mercedes' & the 'Big Bore exhaust Novas' come a thursday, Friday & Sat night.
Granted a few numbers will increase at the like of Digital but the doorstaff there would never let it get as bad as that place (hopefully).

gateshead really tried but the navy won't move. I agree it looks shit. I'll be sorry to see the boat go though . it always looked good to see a big ship there. I only tried to get on it twice and both times got knocked back for having the wrong clothes, so I never got to see the inside.

My first "real dj-ing gig" was aboard that floating turd i remember it like it was yesterday when i turned up 18 year old shitting my pants inside the dj box was 2 handheld controllers both identical to each other so i knew one was for the smoke machine so i picked one at random and pressed the nice green button and then WOOOOOOOOSH.........yes it was the fucking foam machine 10.25 they open in 5 mins and the clubs covered in foam.......ah them were the days
