    Re: The be-spectacled...

I just bought some online last week for £15, plus £2.50 p&p

I wear contact lenses 99% of the time, so only wear glasses a day or two per month, so thought I'd try one of these cheapy sites.

I used www.glassesdirect.co.uk, but there's loads more if you just google cheap glasses.

You need to have had your eyes tested, and have a prescription, because you fill it in online. They take about a week to send out.

    Re: Re: The be-spectacled...

do you have the ones you sleep in?

if so, even if not i'd wear your glasses a bit more, cos i used to wear mine all the time an it ducks your eyes up... i had to stop wearing mine completely i ducked them up so bad :(

on a side note, how much have people spent on glasses/contact lenses etc in the last 5 years?

Contact lenses are the way forward, cheaper in the long run, glasses are a pain

I cant wear them though, i have a slightly lazy eye but my glasses fix it  i tried having surgery when i was younger to sort it out but it fucked up and i had to go back for an emergency op. The most painful thing you could imagine, so fucking uncomfortable afterwards aswell. they had to adjust my eye when i was awake using degradeable stitches that were attatched to the muscle in my eye. I would never put myself through it again, i will stick with glasses
