    The Bands 05

I purchased this last week after seeing the advert on the TV. Not as good as I thought it would be, but there's some good stuff on there. There's also some bad stuff mind, but I think the price I paid for the CD is less than it would've cost to buy all the good tracks on single anyway.

Has anyone else got it? What are your opinions if so?

That's exactly what it is mate. However, the advert only shows the good tunes. Bastards. Still, it's alright for my MD, I just skip past the shite.

are all ok to good id say? although definatley not the strongest tracks from those artists byany stretch.. with the exception of 'nature boy' which is brilliant!

been a big 'vines' fan for a few years now when i was livin over in yankee land, 'winning days' was the only one of note of the recent album though.. saying that, 'highly evolved' was a brilliant album, with 'factory' 'country yard' and one of my favourite tunes ever 'homesick'

shame they never seem to hit their potential though :(

    boo!

Not a huge fan of 'Nature Boy' to be honest, or that Kaiser Chiefs track.

The Steriogram and Baby Shambles on there are class too.

It doesn't sound at all dates amongst most of the tracks on there either. Not sure whether that's because the music of today is very behind, or The Clash were so head of their time.

I think a lot of music from 1994 / 95 was not appreciated in its time

but if it was released now it would be laughed at

I was a Blur fan back then, I hated Oasis. I think Blur stuff still sounds class tbh :king:
