we knew it would be - it was bought by Virgin 1  they're showing DS9 and Gladiator repeats!

if had of been any good, Sky 1 or someone would have it. i watched the first to see if it was any good - it wasn't horrible but for the opener of the series - it should have blown my socks off - like Lost did.

I got about half way throuhg the first episode before I delted it. When i seen the 'terminator' walking through the car park at the beginning I almost felt like stabbing myself in the face. :(

    This series is absolute blasphemy.

It should never have been made, what a fucking disgrace.

personally i've seen them all now and i'm hooked. it sticks to the original story very well and the acting and special effects are spot on. the only thing i dont like is the Jerry Springer Final Thought bit at the end.

    My counter argument would be:

A: James Cameron - the absolute legend who established the Terminator universe and who concieved the original 2 films timelines is not creatively involved. Writers who have no right are just adding pure shit to the franchise.

B: Linda Hamilton doesn't play Sarah Connor, when Linda Hamilton is Sarah Connor.

B: There is no reason for the series to even exist other than to make 20th Century Fox more money.

A: Ian Fleming's dead, Bond's still going strong.

    B: Linda Hamilton's in her 50's!!

C: The same reason every program and film is made, that and entertainment.

What was funny about my points like?

Sorry but i don't agree with you.

Your points might seem valid but I don't think they apply in this context like.

I still don't think the series should have been made, but if it was Cameron should have been involved. But i'm a massive geek and a purist.

Films and good dramatic serial television should be a form of artistic expression, and the majority of people don't just write a script or whatever to make money from it.

I personally thinks it cheapens the Terminator mythology, but that's just my opinion.

for me and i LOVE T2, but that was almost a sell out - t3 killed it for me

yeah, personally i don't like the main actors - BUT how it's sticking close to the story - i like

Ness am with you LOL at decrepid Linda Hamilton holding a bazooka  MOS you die hard geek!!!

I love it I love anything Terminator related even the shit pc games, as for a movie depicting the war i could have told you that in 82, the flash backs are by far the best bits of the movie, apart from the "your completly safe here we have 28 cops in this building" scene, the flash back where the terminator sneaks into the underground rebel hidout is my fav bit. As long as James Cameron does it it will be awesome, didnt he do Aleins and that kicked ass in like 88 or something, the tv series was lacking but also could have been done so am glad it was, I missed the last two ep's tho
