firstly when the dude came round he told us that the contract was a minimum of 6 months....a lie.....its actually 12, cos i am a student i will be going home for summer so i will have to pay regardless...
secondly we had this deal where for the first month you got all the channels( movies and Sport etc...) free providing you cancelled them a few days before the month was up.. ok.. so i did what the bloke said... obviously there was a set fee of £42.50 when we got the first bill through the fuckers charged us £125.
we knew there was a installation fee of 25 quid but thats no where near what they billed us. i rang up to sort it out and they basicly told me a load of balls...

    harsh!

you have to pay 2 months rental for your first bill (cos youve had it for a month, and you pay the next month), plus your installation cost. Sounds about right to me....

My telewest BB, at 25 a month, is rock solid: no bandwidth blips and about 1 outage over the 3 years I have had it ( except for at the very beginning, teething problems, 2500 pings etc :) )

Much, much more stable than my mates ADSLs, and better ping. Shitter U/L rate tho.
