taylor rejects new deal bit of a shame, not sure about what taylor's financial situation is with newcastle but he deserves to be brought in line if it's not the case imo, be a big mistake to lose him on a bosman next summer http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/6983673.stm
Big Sam wont put up with that, to be honest he is a good player but makes a lot of mistake, wont play this seaon with Cacapa, Rozenhal and Faye looking for 2 centre half places, enrique left back and Beye right back, none of them that old either. He says he only wants to play for the toon, a would play for fucking free, its every geordie lads dream, he is living it but now wants more money. Just got rid of Dyer, don't need another big time 'pay me as much as the rest' at the toon.
Probably will, they always do, captain for Under 21's now aswell, probably thinks it gives him a bit leveridge, especially after being in last full squad aswell. Like you cant live on 10 or 20 grand a week like a bet he is on now
figures aside, if i was doing the same job as someone earning twice my wage i might have something to say?
Experience tho what counts a think, more experience in any job should get paid more, you wouldn't get a apprentice getting the same as a master, Taylor young lad has got years to earn big money, just needs to cut out mistakes and the deals will come, could be the new John Terry but could also be the new Bramble, hopefully with the better players w have now he can learn more and improve
Maybe hes rejected the deal because hes worried he wont get many first team oppurtunitys and doesnt want to rot on the bench so is biding his time and seeing how things go
Its purely financial, he is the lowest paid player in the 1st team. Personally i think we should give him abit more money than what hes on. He is playing well at the min like, and with experience he could become a class player.
I really dont see what the big deal is ... hes the lowest played player in the first team , has had a good start to the season on the back of being the best english player at the under 21s championships in the summer and hes been elevated into the england senior squad as well as being made captain of the u21's If i was him id be looking at negotiating hard hes in a position of strength and its just ood business .. He will sign a new deal for more cash but it wont be as big a wage as the likes of owen or dyer , is and were on :fart:
