Tax i think im being bent over by gordon browns minions. i got taxed over a quarter of my pay this month, that tax bracket im in should only be 22%. how does one go about rectifying this problem. im expecting similar sized monthly pay and dont really wanna be taxed this high when im not exactly making millions
theyre fucking useless and theyre in poole, they fucked me out of 200 quid before, i think anoher p46 is in order because theyre incompetant as fuck.
What happened with the £200 business? You might be on a emergency tax code - but i don't think you would be as you're still ith the same employer? You're going to have to contact your Payroll section - even if they are incompetant as fuck.
re the 200 notes, i was full time changing to part time but the clowns didnt put the date through in time, so i got paid full whack then the next month they took it ALL back so i got nothing, the taxed me for the month i was actually part time at the full tax rate then when they clawed it back the clawed it all back from me and not the inland revenue, which meant i got fuck all pay. i tried explaining it all about 5 times in my most eliquent mackem but it still didnt get through to them.
I cant see the payrol departments making a mistake, wages are all computerised, they put your tax code on system and wage and the programme tells them your tax etc, it cant be caused by human error, unless your hours of work etc are incorrect. What is your tax code on your payslip?
502L seems to change a bit tho, when i came onto and back off part time i noticed some slips had tax code 'month 1' aka emergency code.
Did you hand a P45 from previous job when you started? and how long have you been working there? Whether you are part or full time that shouldnt affect it unless part time was below the threshold
It seems strange your tax being up and down then as your tax code would have been correct once they received P45. Ring the tax office and explain to them, the tax advisor will let you know what the crack is. Is this the job where you wear your stupid shoes????
yeah me dads mates a tax fella gonna see him about it. yeah the stupid shoes have seen better days tho after kicking footies about in them the right one has taken a proper hammering, but tbh tho i run BHI when im wearing those shoes
