    the bread always looks like plastic, the fillings look 4 days old, the cheese looks plastic and it's the most un-appetising place i've ever walked past! bring back the greasy spoon !

    i love subways but charging twenty pence is really taking the biskwit. guess not even them are safe from this 'credit crunch', whats that like a penny a second ?

    just had to make the choice between my local greasy spoon and subway - and everyone from shields know's how class micheals cafe is :lol:

    full all day breakfast and a pint of milk = 3.30 and hangover cured! :D

    its 60p for 2 slices of toast in the restaurant at my work, thats more than they probably pay for the whole loaf

    A carrier bag costing 5p isn't gonna stop me using them to be honest. I'm hardly likely to carry a load of items home to save 5p, and I don't think the local shopkeepers had the sea creatures in mind when they decided to start charging for them.
