synchronizing email is there anyway i can get outlook on my pc to link up with my uni webmail so I don't have to fuck about with ie to check my mail?
yeah you need a number of some sort! i cant remeber how to do it. have a look on your version of blackboard. It'll be on there.
Re: synchronizing email you just need to know what type of mail account it is, what the server name is, and then add the account with your password into the email accounts on outlook. Shouldnt be too difficult
Re: synchronizing email Find out what the POP3 or IMAP server is for your uni. Then just add a new account in Outlook.
if it's UNN, i'm preyy sure all the mail servers are now inside the firewall - only way is webmail or desktop anywhere
its uni of liverpool... we use mullberry as our email thingy... if i email tech support what details should i be asking for?
they should get this request often - Ask for Mail type i.e. Exchange, POP3 SMTP, etc and for the server name (incoming AND outgoing if it's POP3) - the account password will be your student ID and password.
