    Swing

Just wondering if anyone knows any decent examples of when swing and other latino influenced jazz breaks were used in dance? And I'm not talking about fucking doop :D

Just swing is my first love as far as music goes but never herda any decent fusions with dance (even though swing and latino rhythms are by far the most energetic and danceabel beats around).

Hip Hop are forever using swing breaks looks @ jurassic fives swing time :D :D :D but apart from the odd sample in a breaks set swing and dance never mix.

latino house tends to use standard house beat patterns with latino instruments... swing/latino beat patterns as I'm sure u know are very different :D

Swing set is an amazing track. I've been looking for something similar since hearing it but never found it. I've got a CD that classes itself as swing but it isnt really, it's stuff like Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington, fucking good stuff but not what I'd call swing.:D

Just listening to Squirrel Nut Zippers. Sounds quite a lot like dixieland kinda stuff which is a fucking good thing. The only dixieland stuff I've really heard is by the Mad Caddies who mix dixieland jazz and punk on 1 of their albums:p
