    SUNDI-LAID TO REST
    - Kirk’s empire crumbles as Sundissential sinks!

Sundissential will be no more, as today 30th June clubithard.com reveals to the world that the era of the once great Hard House event has now ended.

With reference to Sundissential’s financial position, the company has decided to commence liquidation proceedings under Section 98 of Insolvency Act 1986.

A creditor meeting has been called for on 14th July 2004 in Birmingham.

Director Daniel Elliot Kirk’s company Sundissential is said to be well within thousands of pounds in debt, mainly due to poor turnouts at Sundissential events across Birmingham & UK.

Many companies, DJs, agencies and suchlike are still owed thousands in fees, some of which haven’t been paid since November 2003. It was also reported last month that their phone lines were cut.

A mere 350 people turned up to their last event, ‘Underwater World @ the Works’, an event of which was pivotal to Kirk’s future.

In the summer of 2003, co-founder of the ‘people’s republic’ Madders was forced out, it was then understood by September exactly what happened as the true colours of the Sundissential staff were uncovered.

    More news to come!

One of the greatest clubnights this nation has ever had.

    But it ran its course.

    3 things that killed Sundissential

    1)Getting harder & harder
    2)Funkissential
    3)Madders leaving

you guys demanded it to become harder and harder plus thats a bit harsh levelling that at funkissential

When de vit died (rip) the void was filled by fergie and lashes et al

We were going to it in 96/96 and it wern't just a hard house club.

Anyone who says it was it talking pap.

I heard everything from House - trance - hardhouse in sundissential back then with all different types of people straight and gay

Nick rafferty played trancey , as did tissera, the more the club veered toward hard house the more hard housey their djs got.

We stopped going in 2001 coz it was too hard for us then what with A* playin the gimp

When clubs become mono music they lose their eclecticness..

However people who merely say this kirk geezer is to blame should remember when madders did the second TDV memorial they only donated 10% of the door to charity (at increased door prices|) whereas at the first memorial all door takings went to charity

Clubs die when they become greedy and internal poiltics take over., Sundissential became gredy a long long time ago

PARDON!!!I was very happy with the bounce & trance sounds.

Funkissential was just a backroom when it started but then it grew & while it was growing a lot of people grew out of HH while in the Funkissential room.

IF YOUR REPLY DISAGREE's PLEASE DONT BOTHER POSTING IT BECAUSE I SAW ALL THIS HAPPENING:D

Andrew if you were that astute you would realise as spence does that that was melt using Andy's log in at present.

I would say 90% of the posts in the last week have been from Melt using Andys log in

I will now stop using it as Andy will get chucked off.

I am going back to one of me incognito aliases. TA RA

Spence aint disagreeing that much with ya but were you at Sundissential back in 96/96 in Leeds and Brum

its all inclusive nature back then was great then it became very much a bastion for the hard house cyber kids, in daveys opinion

I went to some of the early Leeds gigs but none of the Brum ones. But you are right Sundissential was NOT a HH club when it started it only became HH club when Dan Prince & Louie left SS
