Suppose it says a lot about how far we have came that we have finished in the top 10 though my only feelings about it is that its a year of massively missed opportunities.

Given where we were and how we looked from around Nov - Jan to how we have performed since has been eye opening, and at least 5/6 new signings and a total reassessment of our training schedule and pitches is needed to get to the bottom of our shocking injury situation, including having had 5 players who have done their cruciate knee ligaments in the last 12 months!!

Newcastle have have had a fantastic season. First season back with the big boys, sacked their manager, sold their idol and TGS, no signings of note racked ontop of the usual fan delusion and they have had a decent finish. Its a great result for the toon. It just shows how the power shift has changed that this is seen as a bad season for SAFC yet they still finish above the unwashed

Forgot to mention Newcastle UTD played most of the season with Shola, Best and Lovenkrans upfront and still had a decent finish.

Surely the worst strike force in the Premiership this season even the relegated teams have some good goal scorers.

Again everyone WELL DONE NEWCASTLE !!

Take the mick out of Shola all you want, but he's scored more European goals than Sunderland has ;)
