Its worrying that no word has came from the club yet about Jones, its been about 3 weeks since the injury (or maybes just 2..??) Normally you would find out the extent within a few days, though one of my mates saw him in Durham last week and said he looked fucked, had a full leg cast and some sort of black device that looked to be going through his knee and he was struggling to walk?? Exactly mate, much rather spending money on quality than wasting millions on the likes of Prica, Etuhu, Halford et al. Tbh its the first time ive seen Sunderland be able to go in for established premiership players and having that kind of money to spend on players. I remember as a kid going to watch Sunderland under the likes of Butcher, Buxton etc and thinking the likes of Gareth Hall were decent signings Would love to see some of the names linked with us so far this year come in, fair play to Quinn, Keane etc for doing what they have for the club so far and look forward to hopefully seeing us push on next season
