    sunday dinner

    i love goin out for my sunday dinner, well if havnt been out nite b4 :p

    its always so much nicer when other ppl make stuff :up:

    done usual cornerhouse, wetherspoons, three mile etc but where else does nice ones?? :)

    Stereo used to do really nice ones, they went downhill but I haven't been for a few months, so they might be good again now.

    Other than that I go to Shiremoor House Farm, the Cluny or 42nd Street in Whitley Bay.

    Nooooooo.... They used to be lovely but gone down hill. I sent mine back twice a few weeks ago it was that bad, ended up getting my £££'s back & having a bag of crisps from the next bar! :lol:

    Sambuca on North Shields quay is absolutely class, soup starter, roast dinner & desert for £6 (or £7, can't remember!). Food is top notch. It's one of those places you wouldn't know existed unless someone specifically told you about it, off the beaten track somewhat! Got to book in advance though as they're always busy... :)

    I only go there because it keeps serving until quite late - I can never get round to going out for lunch until at least 3pm!
