Subculture @ The Sub Club, Glasow w/ Kerri Chandler Went to this event on saturday night. Absolute quality little club, had a proper underground feel to it. You go in the eside door and down this little mad staircase. Greeted by a giant glaswegian, hand stamped in yee go wee man! The club had really low roof with these huge speaker stacks on the side of the dancefloor. The residents were playing real dark industrial tech house, which sounded fukn quality. It was almost complete darkness in some parts of the clubs and the dancefloor had these wicked lights on where it meant you could only make out peoples sillhouettes. Had some cool little seating areas and as the club filled they moved the walls back so it felt busy from the moment you got in there. The sound was immense with it being so small and kerri chandler played some belters. Would recommend going to subculture to anyone it was quality!!
aye mate, the last time i went up there, harri nd dom were playin a 4 hr set, was probably one of the best sets id ever heard, they would build it up with about 4 or 5 techy numbers then drop a proper epic proggy track nd then start all over again. was quality, it was one of those nights where i didnt wanna leave the club and with me getting on a bit thats a rare occurance these days. Il def have to check that out, i really want to get a hold of their essential mix like, you have any idea where i can dl it?
