Stuxnet worm thought to be the first 'cyber-weapon targeting Irans nuclear reactors. Always find it interesting to know that there is some real life james bond shit going down between the various governments on this planet. Basically the Iranium government reported that a load of computers at their new nuclear power planet had been infected with a new virus called Stuxnet. It's thought it probably targets the likes of cooling systems and has the ability to shut them down. Iran, China and Russia are amongst the only countries that have actually recieved infections yet... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuxnet http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn19504-why-the-stuxnet-worm-is-like-nothing-seen-before.html
Mental that like. Having worked in nuclear power stations and seeing how mad tight the security is, I wonder how they got there in the first place...
same as always, people using USB memory sticks on systems where they shouldn't, people who designed the systems not correctly isolating them from the internet, and so on
i like seeing stuff like that, it is cool like and alot like james bond. its nice to see where my taxes are going. nuclear for the future of life
This is gathering pace now but the media are doing well to cover it up. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2011/dec/07/iran-war-already-begun
think il keep my huge stash of skunk n e in case the shit hits the fan and we end up like terminator 2 ..
Yes Iran will do as a stopgap enemy till we can get the Chinese properly set up as one. They are undefeatable so we can keep the military spending ramped up forever. Great
And like a School fight over a football, Obama asks for it back and Iran say no. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/dec/13/iran-rejects-us-spy-drone
Fucking fair play to Iran. Bet the Americans are gutted that they returned the 'cyber attack' and baggsied a stealth aircraft intact.
Yep - "Thanks very much for all your hard work on this super-secret Drone, we'll have all your mechanics copied by Monday"
I bet the Chinese are thinking that it's definitely a good thing that they are actively trading with Iran.
