    I thought you might like to know what I have planned for the site over the coming months. At first it was enough of a job just to get the site shifted, now that's all sorted I've been thinking about how to take the site forward.



    We are going to a have a fully automated gallery that is integrated into the board.

    You will be able to add your own gallery and upload photos, they will then be made into thumbnails etc automatically. I've been looking at the software and it seems easy to use and has lots of good features.


    We also are going to have some sets done for the site on a regular basis by some of the best local and not so local djs that I deal with in my proper job (yes I have one lol). You will get a new mix every 2 weeks each covering a different genre of dance. Each 1CD long with full track listings and cue files etc.

    I have got some cheap hosting that will allow roughly 1500 total downloads per month (for members only).

    I want to find someone good to do the trance sets, once that's in place I will tell all. :)

    Rob - Quick Question : The banners - presumably they're helping to pay for the site - not knowing how this shit works, but, are the 'click rates' or anything like that monitored? for example, does clicking on a banner make more money for yous to run it?


    Just thought it might be a good idea, we as a community, to help keep this place running 'visit some of the sponsors' ;)! I personally ignore them, don't fuss me - but if it'd help the place, i'd happily visit the site, check it out and close the window - it's only an extra few mins of my day

    Gallery wise, if you can make like it like mujao where you can post comments etc i think that would be great.

    Coppermine is a good gallery but i'm not sure about integration into the forums. If you were planning on having seperate sections from an index page such as forums, gallery and sets then Coppermine would be good. It's free and lets users have their own galleries, different user levels, comments for pics, total control of layout/colours etc etc.

    Have you installed this and tried it out? I looked around for ages for a suitable gallery. I found they all either had something i really didnt like, or were lacking something.

    If you haven't tried it out I suggest doing so and also checking out coppermine :)

    Sorry to sound patronising I dont mean to. I know nothing. :p
