still no broadband after my dad has bought a hub for his usb, had to get his pc wiped & re-formatted for a 2nd time cos the idiot in help told him to do sometihng which dis-connected norton & it wudn't go back on, 4 modems & also a pci networking card installed so we cud use ethanete they finally decide to tell us that its never going to work! dickwods!
nah the comany i work for...i sell this shite product so have to blatently lie when i say i have this in the house, tis excellent value for what u get...works very well! :sick: all to try & earn some bonus for me & increase bt's revenue! :evil: my dads on the war path tho...complaints will b made the worst thing is theres a help team thats in exeter (they take the over flow from our call centre) & they told my dad who ever told him that u needed a micro filter in every phone socket was tlaking rubbish cos u only need it in the socket with the pc plugged in...they quietened down when he pointed out that that'd b his daughter they were on bout....i pointed out that as part of our compliance (i.e. we can lose our jobs if we don't mention it) we ahve to ask the customer how many phone sockets they have with something plugged into it...& whilst i'm having a bitch another 1 of them listened into a call he'd cold transferred & then interupted a convo i was having to tell me i was wrong about something (this also got the customers back up) when in fact i was right.... i think thats it....for now at least! :evil: :evil:
aye am wel gutted...wanted lots of music...looks like Ken will b a busy busy boy in the summer! i ain't got started yet...i cud rant about all sorts for hours without even taking a break to breathe!
we should b able to get up to 2 meg...we're really close to the exchange...it's between the service & the pc...it's just not compatible but for no reason what so ever...really pissing me off! :evil:
i wud have thought so too but apparently not! all of these other things have been tried...we''ve swapped them round, tried them with & without...nothing seems to work!
