Stereo (Tonight) It looks really good they have got 2 Ibiza DJs on! They have got Rob Orton who is originally from South Shields area. I first saw Rob about 5 years ago in Ibiza playing at Koppas (upstairs from Nightlife). He runs the Plastic Fantastic record shop in San An, I am not sure where he was Djing last year in Ibiza as I cant remember seeing him play anywhere. The other Dj is Jonathan Ulysses who is a Space resident and mixes the Space CD! Even when Jonathan is not working @ Space he is out & about on the Ibiza circuit as he seems to pop up at most places I go to in Ibiza. Another graduate from the Ibiza training school that is the WEST END of San An!!!!!!! I wish had of known of this night in advance as I would have went
i saw the posters for jon ulysses as well, wouldnt mind seeing him so i might pop down for a bit. howard donald played at work as well didnt he?

Yeah I saw the posters for his a while ago. Rob Orton's is a name I heard from the island a couple years back, but never really heard much about. Now El Divino resident isn't he? Jonathan Ulysses is a different story entirely, being an absolute legend! If I wasn't skint, and didn't have so much coursework to do, I'd be going to this!
He did yeah. Ross O'Donnell played a little while ago too. Actually I'm not sure if it's something to do with Ross :spangled: Um, anyone know?

Well I know Rob Orton has as I read it in 1 of them Ibiza mags you pick up in the bars in Ibiza! I also know Rob makes good money from remixing better not say anymore as the words 'DATA PROTECTION ACT' seem to setting alarm bells off in my head

People that go to Ibiza for there leg over make me laugh ! Its the fucking best place in the world to be clubbing wise thru a summer period of time not a knocking shop ! Its far from what they used to show on Ibiza Uncovered - the west ends rough as fuck and the only time i was seen there was when it was my last night or after a meal as when i went it was in a split group of lads / lasses ! The men that knock around there often got many a visit like and that always helped our little gang have a good night

After leaving work I nipped into Stereo. I stayed for about a hour, if that was Rob Orton on the decks when I went in FUCK me he put a lot of beef on. I think he may have over used the KFC & Pizza hut restaurant next to Itac. When I was leaving Jonthan was entering the building. Music sounded like Bar M after sunset. Next Work is 29th April with Ross O Donnell, Rob Orton & Graeme Park. Work will be in Ibiza from June till Sept @ Es Paradis, this night will fail unless it is part of the 18-30 or 20z club package IMO.
That's the one! Will definately be at this one! I think Work in Ibiza would be pretty nice tbh. They've already had some of the island's big DJs over here already, I think if they booked in the same way they do over here (couple names everyone knows, and local talent known by the right people), they'll do well. DJs like David Moreno (Space), the bird with the funny name who also plays Space and Miss AJ (Kancela/Cadena 100) would be bookings that would pull me in when I'm over there! Does that mean Ross O'Donnell's in Ibiza this summer too Spence? Might have to give him a shout as I may have some stuff for him in that direction
Work in Ibiza will be nice! But the days of a house crowd having a night out in San An are over. Also Es Paradis(MY FAVORITE CLUB ON THE ISLAND) is no longer a powerful club on the island. I think work will have to join up with holiday company to get a big crowd. I dont know if Ross will be in Ibiza.
