    STE ROBERTS (Rm237 / Immigrant / Surroundz) @ KILL THE DISCO, M'BRO

KILL THE DISCO FRI 19TH JANUARY

    STE ROBERTS

    (Immigrant // Rm237 // Surroundz)

    Now then guys,

First off, apologies for those that turned up to see Chris Halliday last week, the A1 was shut because of bad weather last friday night and without the aid of a sat nav they had no other idea of how to get to Middlesbrough, so unfortunately had to cancel around 9pm - sorry! Everyone still had a good crack tho, and it just meant we all got to play for a little bit longer :D

Moving onto this week we have another guest from Leeds (we've got a private jet on standby in case the roads are closed again). After playing an absolute blinding set of house and techno which really got the people on the dancefloor moving, we thought it was only fair that we got Ste Roberts booked to once again grace the Kill The Disco decks. Resident at Rm237(www.rm237.co.uk) and Surroundz (www.surroundz.com) in Leeds, as well as gigs at Technique, Superconductor and Dirty Disco, he's warmed up for the likes of The Orb, Dominik Eulberg, LFO, Marco Carola and Phil Kieran to name but a few. Ste will be arriving in Middlesbrough fresh from playing at the Technique/Asylum New years bash at the Warehouse in Leeds with Radioslave, Maurice Fulton and Radioactive Man (the lucky bastard!) Ste also works for Immigrant Records (www.immigrantindustries.com), a top drawer techno label releasing music by artists such as Robin Porter, John Tejada, Funk D'Void and Vince Watson. For everyone that was there last time we know you won't wana miss out, if you didn't come down last time here's your chance to come and find out what all the fuss was about! We've got a later licence till 2.30 am for this one as well seeing as no-one wanted to leave last time, see you there!

We're taking a bit of a break after this one while the place gets a refurb, but we'll be back on the 9th of Feb for some more cracking parties - check our myspace for details of upcoming guests, we reckon they're pretty alright like:wink:
