Stan Collymore Stan Collymore is ready to make a sensational return to football after claiming he is good enough to play in The Premiership. The 35-year-old former England international has been out of the game for five-and-a-half years after leaving Real Oviedo in 2001. Despite his prolonged absence, along with several personal problems he claims he has now overcome, Collymore insists he is in great shape and ready to make the most unlikely of comebacks. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=419950&CPID=8&clid=&lid=3&title=Collymore:+I'm+back
just been reading this on sky news . Hes saying hes ovcer his mentle problems Reckons he saw nothing at the world cup that made him think any of the player were better than him Somebody like neil warnock should grab him give him a trail and see if hes up for it . But imo he wont play premiership football again !
how am i unlucky, sunderland deserve to be where they are after recents seasons, but my fine friend i can admit it where as you cannot admit that you's are shit ? and i wasn't taking the piss, collymore would probably score more than super luque and the mighty shola put together
We will finish in the top ten this season again . look at the way the league is shaping up everyone beyond the top two / three teams will take points off each other . top ten will be - man u , chelsea , arsenal , everton , liverpool , bolton , spurs , villa , newcastle , blackburn . maybe not quite that order but those are the teams that will be in the top half imo .
Collymore scored some of the best goals the Prem has ever seen that one on his debut for Liverpool was an absolute screamer
If Oba finds his feet, and Shola can play up til xams, and we get a quality striker in Jan, then we should be ok for a top half finish. Problem is those three things probably won't all happen and we'll be left wanting up front at some point.
