    Stabbings

What the hell is wrong with people these days? I read the news everyday and day after day there's reports of people being stabbed and killed!!

Fighting with someone is one thing but sticking a fucking knife in them (and in most cases killing them) is another

It is literally every day there's a new story about it, its pretty worrying if you ask me...

    Discuss.

Aye that was sickening the poor lad, 15 aswell

If the scumbags had any sense they'd have requested solitary confinement from the very 1st minute but they deserve it

    Re: Stabbings

totally agree.harsher sentences need to be passed to deter these idiots from carrying any sort of blade.
until then some narrow minded people will continue to carry a knife with the intention of seriously injuring or killing some innocent member of the public.

You can't carry a knife around with the intent to use it unless you have the mind of a murderer. So aye Squaddiemac i agree, a long spell in jail should come if you're caught carrying one.

theres some sick people around. i just read in the news today about these lads who did an armed robbery on a care home, for people with disabilities, they held knives to the throats of 3 of the people aswell, and do you know what makes it worse, all that trauma and upset of those poor people for a measly £500 and 3mobile phones. i think its disgusting! :(

they are guna be scarred for life coz of that now, imagine how much harder its going to be for them to understand aswell, i think its horrible :(

Aye. some right nasty bastards around these days. Even the difference in only 5-10 years is significant. Far more stabbings now.

It should be like for like. In court the attacker should be held still and have a knife lunged into him the exact same way. cunts.

Was there ever a time when people just had a good old scrap to see who was the better man and just left it at that.

The strongest/hardest wins - end of.

This whole deal with weapons and stuff these days makes it utterly pointless to get into any kind of fight with anyone these days since theres always that fear they either have somethin on them, or will come back at a later date to finish what they couldnt do the first time around.

The question is - what created this situation? Do other countries have the same kind of problems in europe i wonder.... Music / Youth Media coverage?

Thers's too much media, police and government focus on gun crime (although I admit this appears to be changing) which is minimal compared to knife incidents.

Brid, there has always been a problem in other European countries, particularly Mediterranean countries such as Italy, Spain, Turkey and Greece with knives in general. This only tends to get publicity surrounding football violence as the English have (tended) to rely on fists, chairs etc.

There is NO excuse for carrying a blade though - fucking horrible habit

    yeah fair enough.

Its a shame there isnt a more gentleman's approach to things like these eh - although violence is violence at the end of the day, who says it has to be by anyones rules.

Cant understand how anyone would be dumb enough to actually want to end someones life, or risk it - You have to have some serious mental issues going on if you can go through with things like that.

    Not a nice world :(
