Re: Spurs I reckon Mido is probably Defoe's replacement as for Newcastle £18 million on Boumsong,Faye and Yakubu in todays transfer market is rather alot if you ask me
Re: Spurs Mido - Failed in France, Failed in Italy. So that means he could be a great player for Spurs then ?!?!?. He has been offered to every Premiership club since August at least twice. Reid & Routledge are good players tho. Amdy Faye is fooking bargain @ £2mill, if Blobby Savage is going £3mill.
Re: Re: Spurs This being the season: Man Utd signed Rooney for £30mill, Beattie cost £6mill, Crouch cost £2mill & Real sign bust a centre half for £13mill & the hapless Kezmen cost £5mill.
Re: Re: Spurs yeah yeah whatever Don't know enough about Mido to pass comment yet. Will wait to see how he does. I don't believe he's 'flopped' anywhere so far. His stats stand up in Holland, Spain and France. Not sure about Reid, hope we get Routledge in though
Re: Re: Re: Spurs Aye but £18 million for them three, come on there not exactly "top class" are they, or do you think they are?
Re: Re: Re: Spurs Has he even played in Spain? He was crap in France that why Marseille bombed him out after 1 season. And he lasted less than 6 months at Roma.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Spurs Ajax 40 apps 21 goals Celta Vigo 8 apps 4 goals Marseille 22 apps 7 goals good stuff
Re: Re: Re: Re: Spurs Lets break them all down. Faye is worth £2million, I think most people will say so. Yak is worth is £8million if you compare the recent transfer of Beattie for £6mill. Yak is younger & his goals record is as good if not better than Mr Beattie over this & last season. I think its is obvious that we were alway going to pay big bucks for Boumsong for 2 reasons. It was not rocket science to work out that Newcastle were looking for a centre half & were always going to big £££'s & it was a mid seson transfer which is a time most clubs dont sell there players so you have to pay a bit more to get players at this time.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Spurs I knew he was good @ Ajax. Oh he was loaned to Celta Vigo because "Egyptian striker Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam is to go on loan in Spain after a complete breakdown in his relationship with Ajax Amsterdam coach Ronald Koeman" http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/low/football/africa/2834201.stm He was crap @ Marseille, even his own agent says that on Egyptplayers.com (I am sure thats the site). He only lasted a season, I suppose that was a long term move him compared to his 4 to 5 month stay @ Roma.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Spurs i've never seen him Spence so can't comment, i just thought you were being a bit harsh labelling him a 'flop' in most countries he's been to if he's matured and settles down it sounds like he's got bags of talent. If not...well he's only on loan so he can fook off at the end of the season. Win-win situation i think
mido's record is a disgrace ajax fell out with boss sent to vigo vigo fell out with boss then sent to marseille via ajax then another tantrum and sent to roma can't get a game he was a decent player at ajax but he got to big for his boots
