Spurs Seal Naybet deal (Skysports.com) "Tottenham have sealed the capture of rugged Moroccan defender Nourredine Naybet. In a deal revealed by skysports.com earlier in the month, Spurs have shelled out in the region of €1 million for the Deportivo La Coruna man. The Moroccan international had been with Depor for eight years and had expressed a desire to play in Qatar, but he has been lured to North London by the prospect of helping Spurs climb the Premiership ladder. New Spurs boss Jacques Santini has breathed new life into his squad with a string of new faces and the capture of Naybet will bring a touch of steel to the White Hart Lane back line. It is not yet clear if Naybet will be able to start the season opener with Liverpool, as his deal is subject to the player receiving a work permit." Good signing I feel. Toughen them up a bit. Shame he migh tnot start against the pool. Santa Cisse would've enjoyed the battle
I like the way Spurs have decided to totally restructure. Bringing Arneson (spl?) was a good move, looking forward to checking progress over next 2 seasons.
