    anyone know how to use it??? or even wot it is???

    got an assignment on it and i just dont understand. :spangled:

    we use it at uni. Like Mr. says, it's for statistical analysis - we use it in psychological testing, allows u to put data in from surveys, questionaires, etc and produce flowcharts, diagrams - stuff like that. Similar to Minitab.

    gonna hav to go into uni today and try and work out how to use it. :(

    il still not understand it. why cant we just use excel. i bet its the same thing. grrr twats. :mad:

    i need this on my laptop... any1 have a copy i could try out? ;)

    spss is loads more complex than excel (in terms of what it can do)

    gives you info bout whether any diffs/corralations you find are significant etc (ie that they were not likely to have occured by chance or whatever)

    dunno bout the 4th birthday, thats way too far ahead!

    cos i've got the tutorial of how to do what i want in 9... hope its similar to that or i won't have any idea what to do!

    10 was no diff from 9 so i wudnt think 11/12 is, probs looks prettier
