It wouldn't work on all the new cameras which they are putting up Pike, you're better off getting yourself a legal road angel or something.

All the new cameras don't flash and are digital/infrared I think. The flash is what the crystalised spray would bounce off.

iv got a road angel but that just works off sat nav and only works off a database of stationary cameras, the `laser detector` is a joke..... once something had detected a laser the laser will have a reading of you wont it or whats the other option slam on your brake when u detect a laser, thats dangerous as fuck.

its the mobile vans that cause the problems, do they flash?

All number plates in the UK must meet British Standard requirements. Their is nothing in the legislation that state your number-plate has to be flash friendly. It does not contravene the law because the plate is still clearly readable with the naked eye.

I know what you are saying, I've not heard of any specific law to deal with this either. I just think pc plod always has some sneaky law up his sleeve to catch you out.

    no they don't at all.

pike you can get better road angel type equipment that detects everything going and even knows by the minute where mobile cameras/vans have been put in place.. one of my mates (a taxi driver) has one and its saved his licence several times.

    ill look into it

when i bought mine (about a year and half ago) you had to buy two different systems (road angel + another make) to be completely covered.

this isnt for me if for my dad, i have never been caught as tend to obey menial laws.
