    Splitting Mp3's

Whats best way to do it so that like a 120 min set gets onto 2Cd's ??

I dont n wont use Nero as it just for some reason wont work on my Pc so am using Music Match Jukebox (which i also need the crack codes for) - i have been given summit to use to split them as i need to clear HD Space as most of it is Mp3's of mine @ the moment !

    Anyone help me ??

    Cheers

err... i'll do it by memeory cos im on a pc @ yoonee with no winamp!..

    right.. load ur mix..

then go in2 the options.. and select preferences.. then sumthing like 'output'.. change it from what it is.. to sumthing like... 'WAV or CD OUTPUT'...

then see where the file u create will go.. (there will be a choose directory box or summit)

right.. now all u gotta do is play ur mp3... u wont hear anything but winamp will look like its runing really fast...

when the mix reaches 60 mins... stop the mp3 mix..

then go 2 the directory u chose to save it in2 and rename it MIX part 1.. or whateva...

then do the same with part 2... :D

if anyone else has any other ways of doin it please tell me.. cos this way is arsey!! :p

    T-Fish's method>

    1) User MusicMatch Jukebox to turn the MP3 into a .wav file.

    2) Then load the .wav file into CoolEdit 2000 and split into 3 parts. Saving each track as you go, then deleting the part of .wav that you have saved...(I think 3 tracks is enuff to split a set into but its upto you).

    3) Then load the .wavs into CD Burning software and make sure they have 0 (Zero) seconds gap inbetween each other then burn.

    Smart E's method:

open mp3 in sound forge, split into two files.... save both as mp3's...

    much easier :D
