How do i do it? I know you can use Nero to split a DJ set into two but can you do it with a DVD?

If not, what (free) software can i download to do it?

    Gracias.

you got the xvid mpeg2 codec installed?

try winavi, convert it to some other format maybe - however you might find that the sound goes of of sync.

tried loading into Nero vision express (comes with Nero) - that usually accepts most formats. then, rather than make a DVD - chop it up and export it
