    I (geordie) have always put "howay" and would say "haway" is a mackem spelling.

    any proper geordie would know that the correct spelling is "haway"

    bolton has a simmilar thing calle "what fet' do" i have no idea what it means i just know they say it alot LOL

    It says Howay the Lads on the sign over the tunnel at St James Park, that's the Geordie way to say it for me.
