Speeding up 1210's Does anyone thin this a good idea?? anyone off here done it?? just i like to hoof me tunes and i tend to have a few slower ones in me box , heres a link that shows you how to do it if u want to try it out http://www.ultimatebuzz.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12914&highlight=technics
Re: Speeding up 1210's my decks have been speeded up..........always good when you can play a slower 1 in your set.....its pretty easy to do aswell
aye true, but i only have 5 makina records and i dont play italian stuff, i just have a few uk tracks that are only about 160 - 165 bpm - and i like to play at about 180 - 185 bpm :finger:
most the italian stuff is utter cheese any way, every1 gets the impression charvs listen to ultra hard makina shite but its mostly cheese. my pals got loads but he pays like £100 for some i try and tell him its fuckin stupid money for shit choons but he has none of it
aye - idiots man!!! i agree that the italian stuff is shite and the makinas even worse, cant go wrong with uk hardcore and a bit of gabba imo
tbh some italian is ok i.e stuff like : el mambo (the tune with the mambo breakdown) baby lets get wet and rapido! - tbh the only italian tunes i like...... and worth buying
yeah man, i was talkin about the likes of shalima, torricana, arriva arriva and so on. absolute shite, he never shuts up about them either, sayin that i aint been out with him for ages. hes got the "town is a waste of money, lets go to the monkey" attitude. fukin gorm, al burn his rockports by the end of the year
dont send it away to anyone i sped up mine a bit a go, but cudnt be assed with it cos it makes the pitch control more sensitive, so i set them back to 0 take of the platter, unscrew the protective dust guar bit, and then when u open up the deck u will see 2 screws, one says brake next to it, its the one just above it, u turn it as far as it goes clockwise and then u have sped them up to +16 if u want to set them back its a bit harder u do same but turn opposite way thing is u keep having to put deck back together and check the platter dots against the red led to see if it lines up, i.e. on certain speeds 0,3.3,6 different dots shud appear stationary in the light dont do it on 0 tho, do it on 6 its more accruate
Why not ditch your technics and get some Vestax?? 100% pitch is built into them Surely if you are playing stuff at more than 20bpm faster, alot of it will sound ridiculous without a master tempo on it??? And playing stuff at 185bpm is well well well offside
