It relies on the shock factor though and that gets harder to acheive all the time as time goes on

i loved the first 3 of this new series, last 3 havent been at as a high a standard but have still been very funny. I agree that it gets better every series too, its just genius. A lot of people wont watch it because they think its all just immature but the underlying social commentary that they do is so whitty and clever.

    I love southpark.

I've just watched manbearpig and it was fucking class.

I've got to dissagree with claire, I think that it relys more on current events/ideologies which basicically sets the part for a long lasting formula seeing as they are constantly changing.

Anyone who thinks it's childish which I have heard people say in the past are blatently missing the clever political/cultural references. And anyone who thinks that it is racist is clearly missing the irony.

I like the one with the hippy jamfest.

Also the way they compared themselves to family guy recently made me laugh.

haha is that the one where the liitle cubs learn how to abort the devil out of kyle? that is fucking unbelievably funny, the scene when they are learning how to perform an abortion is so wrong but so funny.
