Souns Problems The little speaker icon has gone from my taskbar. I have checked in the control panel, nowt is muted. Reinstalled drivers, no luck.... Ideas please, I need my sound!
if in doubt, uninstall any drivers, then in device managaer remove any hardware items that are sound card related. Once done, reboot - see if the O/S picks them back up again and re-installs the drivers
I have just noticed that my rear speakers arn't working ffs. In the past if this happened, all I had to do was set the speakers to 5.1 settings...and that would sort it. No such luck this time mind. Ideas?? I wan't my surround sound!
