Hmmm it appears i can't plug my speakers into the new card.

As you will see from the picture there are only red and white plugs so will i need an adaptor so that my speakers will run through it?

If your gonna use only onboard then no..

If your gonna run 2 sound cards.. one per audio channel and then link to the mixer and then hook you headphones/speakers from there then possibly..

I'm not the best to ask about this though cos I only have traktor running through one audio output..

tbh.. I think you many be the first person on here that has tried this.. i think...

    Question...

Does anyone know if it will be possible to link the above soundcard up to my normal PC speakers and a mixer or whether i have just wasted £40

I never wanted it to link anything else up really, only to be able to cue up mixes on Traktor

    Cheers

hooking that up to a mixer would be piss easy as all you need are phono-to-phono cables

From mixer to speakers depends on the speakers though ;) if it's a hi-fi it's probably just the same again, make sure you take it from the "record" or "line-out" of your mixer so the signal is unamplified - you don't want to blow your hi-fi up if you turn it up too loud.

You mean they're a 3.5mm jack (earphone size)?

In that case you need one of these and one of these ;)

thats meant to be from the back of the mixer:

you get another phono cable, run it from the back of the mixer, into your adaptors, and then into your speakers ;)

    kapeesh?

gahhh... could you have not done that with an sblive for £30? :p

anyways, you'd need a similar setup, a phono lead plus the two adapters, or a 3.5mm-to-phono lead and the last adapter (3.5 to 3.5 female)

You might as well get a mixer and do it properly ;)
