sound quality does anybody know how you can improve the sound quality of a track? some kind of programme? just whenever i download mixes then send them to my ipod, the sound quality is crap, its nowhere near as loud as what it should be?
Re: sound quality so do you want it to be louder or better quality or both? its not really possible to make it better quality once the sound has lost its clarity you can't get it back. if you wanna make it louder get soundforge, and use the normalise function
Go into the Preferences of iTunes, go to the importing tab, change from AAC to MP3- that way it doesn't re-convert it. Also, you can go to the properties of a file, and set the volume to +100%
