Just out of interest, would this be the kind of stuff that is played in a warmup set for a trance night?
I suppose it depends on different peoples preferences I think. I never intended it to be a warm up for the trance event but for the pre-party/second room, I think the deep house/prog at the start of the mix could definatly work at the start in the main room though. What do you think?
i dont think you should call it "sound of evolve" since its house, and evolve (technically speaking) is a trance night. or even sound of elektriqua, which is what upstairs is called isnt it?
Completley valid point mate! There we're a 150 of these mixes given out last friday night and 'Sound of Elektriqa/Pre-Volve' wouldn't have had the same effect as the current name thus why we decided to use it, plus we already had the artwork ready go onto the cd as oppose to having to have 'Pre-Volve' artwork drawn up.
