probably less and less people are using it since it's problems... WinMX is much better IMO.

Not that i ever use it.

The Awaiting User bit means whoever your trying to download from has switched there pc off. So it'll only start again if the switch the pc and you retry it...

The way l use it is after searching something reorder the list of the search to download speed, anything over 20 and you'll get the track superfast, l nver have any probs, l get an album in a little over an hour on a decent d/l speed.

Ps- You'll need to increase your own download speed as well, oh and it'll only work with bradband or faster.

On the front screen next to your transfers it should say:

    'Max D/L KBPS'

Put that up to at least 60 and the tracks will fly down.

I saw you posted Limewire a few weeks ago, l havent checked it out yet as have too much stuff to listen to at the mo :)

I got in a similar situation to you a while back where nothing was downloading etc.

I think it was down to the amount of stuff we were trying to get, we had reams of it like you.

I cleaned everything out and started downloading just one or two albums at a time, l seem to get all stuff am after, but anything that changes to awaiting user, you might as well delete it and search it again from someone else.

Thats the way i use it anyway and its working for me :)

Ps- Turning the D/L speed to 100 isnt bad, but i'd switch the 'Max D/l' box to 5 (Its how many items you can download at one time, its slipts the KBPS between them) the less your downloading the quicker it comes.

Anyway am no expert, these are just my ideas and what l do.

    Hope it helps

    Peace :cool2:

*Edit* Just a quick thought you do pay the $5 for priority downloads? If not its only £2.50 and you get stuff alot quicker.
