Soul Wax in the back room? How well do ppl think this would go down? I know i would make a very rare trip up there to see soul wax playing, any1 else? If u do decide to put them on, make it when a DJ that i dont like is playing in the main room please, coz id really like to see soul wax and dont like missing out in the main room! a thank you
Think It would be a great idea to have soulwax in backroom but what are the chances of them playing? If you could get them it'd be awesome. Generally, more stuff like that upstairs would be brilliant. Stuff like Lo-fi allstars (not that similar to Soulwax but in same vein as them in as much as not typical dance DJ) were brilliant when I saw them at Leeds festival. Would go down a treat?
Whilst on the subject of getting ppl to play in the backroom who mite not normally play, why not look in to possibility of getting Unkle Dex n Fx in. Saw him earlier this year it was like funky house and breakbeat, really good stuff. Maybe get some of the DJs off Warp as well, like Luke Vibert perhaps? That'd definitely be worth venturing up the stairs for. :chill:
im not normally into that sorta stuff and dont know much about it but ive been listening to alot of soulwax latley and i really like it!! i wouldnt mind paying a bit extra to see them and im sure they would get alot of interest from ppl other than the trance heads that usually go to promise, so i think it would go down well!
From our point of view (People Get Real) SoulWax would be awesome will mention it to other Simon (E) and also Mark! Fingers crossed

yeah matey! i like elctroclash aswell but i prefer ladytron, addn to x etc rather than the likes of fisherspooner etc
