Contact Sony, kick off, tell them that you know it's a design fault and you want them fixed for cheap if not for free.

Mine are ok after 2 years.....so far......

Its a bit of a design fault, it happens to loads of people. Shame, cos i think they are the best headphones, and the only ones i can comfortably use to mix...

    the sony's are toss IMO.

HD25s are the bollocks like, I can do the shoulder-to-cup thing with them no bother!

Build quality and sound quality just craps on the Sonys, from a great, great height.

The HDJs are very nice like, but i find them too big and bulky...you can bearly feel the Senns on your head!

I aint got massive ears either, so the Sennheisers are my preferred choice :D

    Nicer sound too imo

seeing as no-one else is, i'll vouch for the technics 1210s... by far the easiest and most comfortable to use headphones.

I would've recommened the HDJ's as well but with the cable not working properly after one month, i'm a bit pissed off with them at the moment.

I had a pair and they did the same --- were totally fine, then after 2 years use the same happened. I got nothing from my complaints, good luck though.

There a piece of shit really when you look at how easily they go. Shocking design and reliability.
