Software problem Right over the past few weeks Traktor has started cutting out left right and centre and i cant work out why, it has my head boxed It used to work fine, i could have been using that and other stuff at the same time no problem but not now. I am free from viruses and spyware and my registry is spotless. It seems to do it the most mid-mix? I've kept an eye on my RAM (by pressing ctrl alt del) and it seems to shoot up to 100% used when this is happening. That would indicate i need more RAM but its worked fine for months? I made a point of switching everything else off on my PC to see if that would work but it still does it? Could it be my PC overheating that is causing it?
what do u mean cutting out - does it crash the program? or the whole machine? is it just sound that cuts out or does it stop playing the item? sounds like something is using memory, it could be the swap file, maybe the main hard disk is getting full and it's having to page data from the HD to memory, something like that. Check free space on the drive, when u do CTRL - ALT - DELETE - check whats running, see if owt sounds suspicious
Nah it just cutting the sound out for a few secs and freezing, then it tries to carry on but the same thing happens again. I have at least 100 gb left on my main hard disk and nothing else appears to be running ?
