100 metres out of Shilbottle towards train station - mayhem! My first taste of Northumberland roads in winter weather!

 Honestly, no idea why anybody can like it? Its too cold! I dont wanna think what it will be like when it snows properly
Its NEVER too cold. Its just your not wearing the right clothes. My mate used to work in -20 temps and said it was like summer cos he wore all the right gear.... Isnt that right Private Mack?
With the North Face jacket on I dont feel the cold anymore. Goose filled jackets are the way forward. Pike the lad hasnt that style of jacket you want & he has sold the all NF jackets he had.
yeah whatever spence -where do you get all the geese to stuff the jacket with? how many geese do you need??
I didnt get any geese myself but someone did somewhere. As I am big lad I would imagine at least 1 geese + young geese should be enuff for my jacket.
That is indeed correct Sarge, I used to play out in -25's all the time, use the following guide to keeping warm in cold climates C - keep it CLEAN O - avoid OVERHEATING L - keep is LOOSE and in LAYERS D- Dry COLD innit
