    Do you believe in smacking?

    These days your probably gonna get carted off to prison for even looking at your kid harshly if they do something wrong, but im sure this obsession with being politically correct is bringing up a nation of morons.

    If i was really bad or kicked my brothers ass i would get a good hiding - and i fvcking deserved it. It taught me the difference between right and wrong and the concequences of what would happen to me if i misbehaved.

    So, i agree with smacking in the right circumstances... its a natural thing to do (as far as nature and animals go) but i dont believe it should be used all the time - only in extreme cases.

    I'm a Dad myself and i would give my son a clip (not a beating) if he took the piss.
    All this human rights crap is OTT imo, its got as far as the Armed Forces which is wrong but i wont get into that!!!
    Sometimes its the only option but works most of the time.

    Yes I do. Obviously not taking their head off, but I think kids get away with far too much these days (god I sound old there :spangled: ). It never did me any harm and I knew how far to push my mother.
