    Sky+

    how MINT is Sky Plus!

    Anybody else got it?

For those that dont...you can pause and rewind live tv, record 2 programs and watch another previously recorded one, or record one program and watch a seperate program on another channel.

It's really class, especially when you have it in your bedroom :D

    Definatley reccomended!!

It can even tape full series of programmes can't it? How many films or whatever can it actually hold? Sounds really good tbh. Think I'll be asking my Mam for it soon!:D

average film takes up about 9-10% of the boxes capacity.

you can buy a better box with a bigger hard drive but i think theyre 100 quid extra.

you can link them to your pc i think if you have a good gfx card you should be able to pilfer whatever youve taped and stick it onto dvd via your pc.

Edit: im not sure how this bit works like but ave got the goonies taped on it and its running time is 113 minutes and its taken up 10%

however i have master and commander taped aswell and its on for 131 minutes but is only taking up 6%

dunno if audio/visual quality has come into it or somet, maybe extra audio steams. :spangled:

So if you taped a seris of something, it would probably take up about half of your hard drive on it? 10 programmes, an hour each one. But you can upload them onto your computer? Sounds pretty good tbh

Aye, the standard one is 20 hours of recording ish. Series link is a totally brilliant feature, i've also set it up for top gear cos i always miss it

The amount of films is quality!!

Theres 26 porn channels...but nowt free. You don't even get any gash in the free views.

Internet is still king for porn :D
